NFU-DEE buys specialized equipment according to the actual teaching and research needs. Cooperating with the development trend in computer science and technology, relevant equipment is purchased and upgraded every year. The purchase of equipment takes teaching as the core, study as the aside, in order to improve students’ knowledge and the research atmosphere.

NFU-DEE was established in 2005. It has built one ic design laboratory and one microelectronic laboratory and one embedded system laboratory three teaching laboratories and seven research laboratories (advanced solar cell laboratory , electronic measurement laboratory , thin film laboratory , communication laboratory , intellingent robot system laboratory , semiconductor physics and measurement laboratory and electro-optical ceramics laboratory).
